My family is seriously deranged. My stepsister put of this history report (she's taking a summer class) until the last minute. She, and my stepfather, both approached me about doing the project for her. Being me, my answer was a much nicer form of "Hell No!" but i did end up helping her outline the paper. How frightening is it that Miss Lavely was right?
The paper came back today and she received an 86, a B. For not having read the book, that is pretty good. Phil was not pleased. The faults for not getting an A fall upon both of them. Neither of them see beyond good grades. They can't see the true value of learning. And Liz is going to be a teacher? God help us all.
Living with this family shows me just what a good relationship i have with my mom. Maybe if the Gates' learned to communicate, they wouldn't be so dysfunctional.
