China...Packing...Nerves...Butterflies!!!!
I LEAVE IN 10 DAYS!!!!!
Hey everyone...
My last few weeks have been a series of one thing after another... I have been stressing over what to take with me and stay under the 20kgs. I have so much to take and plenty of room, but it is just the weight of it that is going to hold me down!!... I have been gradually packing over the last week or so... i am living in the same few clothes at the moment as everything else is packed and i dont want to use anything!
I have found out that it is snowing where i am going and it is going to be freezing, so i have lots of warm clothes!
I am flying with QANTAS and i found out that i have to stay overnight in Shanghai... which is insane... i only know one word in Manderin.... Ni-Hao means hello...but that is as far as it goes!!!
I found out what my classes will be... i have two classes on my own, one class of 3 year olds and one class of 4 year olds... then i have a combined class with the other english teachers Bernadette and Sally... that class is a baby class of 1 and 2 year olds... dont ask me how you teach them as i have no idea at the moment! Because of the one child policy in China, these kids are spoilt rotten, but are very adorable!
I am looling forward to this experience so much and i think that it is going to be great and look awesome on my resume...
one plus is that the Stargate Atlantis ep "Sunday" airs the day before i leave to go down to the airport... i cant wait to see it... Go Lizzie!!!
I will post my snail mail address as soon as i get it... although i may use Bernadettes address as i will be living at the school...
