A state of Me update....
I have new glasses, and they look very sharp. Conversion of the old will have to wait a little bit as that's a larger chunk of money. But it WILL happen. Also, the seeing clearly now cannot be overrated.
My sister has been here since last Wednesday, and is staying through to Saturday or Sunday. It's proving....okay. Would be better if boyfriend troubles hadn't interrupted.
Of course, my period is here, and yesterday was pretty shitty. Today may yet have shitty points ahead.
Bear is working on a very neat cornice to hide the attachment points of a cross so that we can move things round and scene in our dining room! I think this is wonderfully cool. It's now to the point of finish sanding and staining, which means it is now in my bailiwick. I am waiting, however, to get everything back out and start staining and clearcoating until Holly leaves, because the stink may irritate.
Today's lunch is cracked wheat in chicken broth with grilled chicken chunks and mushrooms. It is yummy. And I have leftover Thing from yesterday for supper.
Things could be, and have been known to be, worse.
