Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back

After the conversation we had about the Old Star Wars and how great they are, we re-watched "The Empire Strikes Back". It is as great as ever, even better, because my English is so much better then the last time I watched it and I can appreciate the humor much better. EEEEEEEE! This is exactly the moment! (One of my favourites, alongside with the one bzoppa mentioned.

Oh, I want to re-watch again.

BTW, I can make some more icons of Yoda (and he is asking for some little text too) this weekend, if you would like. He is very iconable!! I only made one for myself really, I didn't think anyone will like.

YAY! This feels a little like a Christmas present in advance! Such lovely, lovely icons - and from my favorite Star Wars movie. I'm taking a whole bunch. :D especially the Leia and Han and Leia ones. *happy sigh* I'm getting all nostalgic here.

I loved the elephant-like snow tanks (which were apparently made to resemble Norwegian snow tanks

*g* And did you know that the ice planet Hoth is actually Norway? Or more precisely a place called Finse on the railway line between Bergen and Oslo? I pass it each time I visit my parents. And the rebels fighting in the snow are volunteers from the local Red Cross. It's a Norwegian claim to fame. ;D

This makes me so happy. I adore all the facts like this. Just think, you could have volunteered! And now every time I see the film I am going to think "this is where baleanoptera lives :D. Ice planet Hoth is one of my favourite bits!!
