Fabulous winterspel made a great post promoting music clips of Japanese singer/actor Kamenashi Kazuya and Japanese boy band "KAT-TUN". I also really like Uma Thurman's character in this film, even if it's the main love story that really gets to me. It's one of those films that makes me happy when I watch it!

I know!!! I think I have heard about this film for the first time in queenofthorns's LJ. Again - LJ is the best!
And I liked Uma Thurman's character very much too. Everyone, including herself, thought that she was beautiful but dumb. I thought that actually she was very very bright, and even more so, clever in her heart. Some things she said were just great, like when she was trying to explain that she is not eating anything and she has "nothing" inside. But of course, I was totally rooting for the main heroine. And I know that Uma Turman's character will find a great guy too :)

Oh yes - I so agree! I'm actually starting to be angry with PapaAdama. How can he talk like that to his son? Grrr...

Also considering that Lee DID save his life just the other day. Hmm, like a parent - I am not happy about this! ** sorry for a mini-rant **

That said: Ellen! *huge sob* and poor Tigh - and it's all so sad and horrible. (And the fact that he made her drink it? Somehow that struck me as very Greek

Oh, I love your Greek connection here. It was indeed very much like in classic Greek tragedies. I was spoiled for this moment, but I felt very sad too. It seemed in this season that Tigh had "found himself", but then this happened. I think it was cruel that they made him do it.

BTW - have you seen a film called "Martha - meet Frank, Daniel and Laurence"? It's another of those films that always makes me happy. A British romantic comedy - but very sweet.
