I read this book last summer and loved it. I didn't mind the love triangle but I was annoyed with the twins character at times. Which I quickly got over because I always have trouble finding zombie books to read. I believe this was my first series actually.
It wasn't really a challenging read falling under my pleasant category as well but, there were a lot of disappointing parts for me, mostly the side characters. In the first book when the girl in red (the first Gabri)was introduced I was pulling for her to be apart of the story longer. Her part in the story was way to short for someone who was a character who helped change Mary thoughts on how to live. The biggest disappointment about the book was the twins father. Clearly we know he grows up so his introduction in the first book wasn't meaningless but, I really wanted to know what happened to him in the last book. I have know idea and wished the group found a clue about the girls father. I felt like it didn't have a real ending as long as the father went unaddressed.

However, I like how the author's "Zombie Vs. Unicorns" ended. It felt like no explanation over different parts of the story were needed. I won't go into this book just encase you haven't read it for yourself yet.
