Listening to audiobooks is working GREAT for me. It has been literally decades since I did the same amount of reading! I finished 9 books of "Black Company" series by glen Cook in 2 months!! This is the answer to my less-than-perfect eyesight! It also seems to be the perfect answer to the boredom of commuting!

used to love this series when I was young. read it in Russain, the first 4 books were gorgeous! but then another publishing house took over the series, with a different translator, and it sucked big time, so I gave up on it.
seems like I should turn back to it and give it a listen :)

To tell you the truth, the first 4 books ARE the best (and the last book). I also liked the book 5 a,d

I will upload my English version for you if you want (I have pdfs as well as audio) - I definitely enjoyed reading it in English (although the translator that did Russian translation ages ago was indeed good).

I wanted to read it for ages, but there were always other books getting in the way. But I think I'll put it on my list of booj I want to buy next

The first three books (they are sort of substory on its's own) are something are something I would recommend to everyone!

The series is quite .. different, I really loved it. I stole the illustrations from all over the Internets, just wanted to keep them together.

Love the gallery, really helped me on my powerpoint for school. I love the series, best i've read so far, and I'm the hardest reader I know. Just wanted to say that picture 4 is of Murgen, and it takes place in She is the Darkness.

I will change my post accordingly. I was trying to pinpoint this one and had no idea where this can be from. The illustration fits Murgen indeed!

The last picture, I think, is Lady. The armor is obviously the Lifetaker armor.
