It seems that my daughter has enough of her father's sensible genes mixed with my crazy ones, and her bickering back, feeling confident and being above it all helped to stop any untoward name-calling. The situation seems to have progressed into occasional "shut up" - "you shut up yourself" from both sides. I think her friend also helped by sticking up for her. ** is relieved **
She also got her last year's report today - noooooooooes! My baby is off to high school next! She finished above average in Math, Science and English, although slightly better in Math/Science than in English (this is my girl) . The funniest phrase in the report goes like this "she is a quiet and considerate member of the class, but she needs to keep her talkative side at home". HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
