Thank you so much, guys! Now I have top fives of almost everything . The lists are compiled in no particular order, if something is numbered "1" it doesn't mean it is the very top of the list.
Top five Korean actors, not by looks (there is another category "Korean men" for that), but by acting abilities:
1.
Lee Min Ho 2.
Lee Byung Hun 3.
Song Kang Ho 4.
Park Shin Yang 5.
Uhm Tae Woong Top Five story arcs in Rome TV series:
1.Friendship between Pullo and Vorenus. Many great smaller arcs here. My favourite is when they made a raft out of dead bodies after the shipwreck. Vorenus going crazy after the death of Niobe and Pullo looking after him is also a good one, but it is so sad.
2. Agrippa and Octavia's doomed romance.
3. Brutus and Caesar's relationship in the first season that culminated in Caesar's murder.
4. Octavian's change from a young boy into a tyrant, this is so very neatly done.
5. Pullo's baby :D
Top Five moments in a Song of Ice and Fire book series
1. Red Wedding : an incredibly powerful scene that is the hub of the series so far. Everyone and everything has been affected by Red Wedding.
2. Sansa singing to Sandor in "A Clash of Kings" : “You promised me a song, little bird. Have you forgotten?”
3. Jaime and Brienne in the bath-house: " The bath-house had been thick with the steam raising off the water, and Jaime had come walking through that mist naked as his name day, looking half a corpse and half a god."
4. Tyrion killing Lord Tywin in the privy: die evil man, die!
5. Rhaegar, winning the fateful tournament at Harrenhal and presenting a crown of winter roses to Lyanna Stark.
Five Favourite films:
1. Casablanca
2. Blade Runner
3. Three colours: Red
4. In the mood for love
5. Spirited Away
Five favourite icons that you've made yourself:
1. Leila smiling : I like the colours in this one and I love Leila.
2. Do androids dream of electric sheep: I love this book book title, it is a perfect quote and a perfect riddle.
3. The legend: This one is from my favourite Korean drama and it was really hard to make. I wanted the both figures to be seen clearly and I also wanted their forces to be seen clearly too. I was fiddling with this icon for hours but now I am quite pleased with it.
4. Summer fruit; Yummy!!!!!
5. We'd like to give you: I haven't done much with this one, just the usual cropping, colour enhancement and sharpening. But the quote is so bizarre it makes me giggle every time I see it:
Top Five painters is a really hard one. The are more than 5 painters that I admire and value equally:
1. Michail Vrubel

Top five Russian/USSR movies:
1.
Solaris , Tarkovsky:
This is probably the film that affected me more than any other film and helped to shape my personality and my tastes into what they are now. I have seen it for the first time during my formative years and had an enormous obsession with the film as well as with the book,
Solaris by Stanislaw Lem, reading and re-reading the book, watching and re-watching the film numerous times. I wish some of you guys watched it. :D
2.
Stalker. After "Solaris" I became obsessed with everything by Tarkovsky. I used to travel far just to watch his fims. These were the dark times before the Internet. "Stalker" is my second favourite among Tarkovsky's films. I also love the novel it was adapted from,
Roadside Picnic by brothers Strugatsky. The word "Stalker" doesn't mean much in Russian but in English the title takes on some sinister, obsessive aspects.
3.
Brother . This a slice of Russia , with it's brutality, melancholia, love for poetry and bigger than life heroes. It features most awesome Sergey Bodrov and songs by Nautilus Pompilius
4.
Ostrov (Island) : So far , this is the best film I have ever seen about the matters of faith and relationship between faith and religion.
5.
The Return Five favorite Russian words/phrases. I tried to remember some of the most colorful ones. Fish, wolves, sparrows and other creatures are featured:
1. " Слово не воробей - вылетит не поймаешь" - A word is not a sparrow; after it flies out you will not be able to catch it back.
2. " На всякого мудреца довольно простоты " - For each wise man there is quite enough simplicity.
3. " Любопытной Варваре на базаре нос оторвали " - Curious Varvara's nose was torn off one market day. Don't be so nosy. Rhyme.
4. "Работа не волк - в лес не убежит." (or just " Работа не волк") - Work is not a wolf - it won't run away. Never do today what you can do tomorrow.
5. " Без труда не выловишь и рыбку из пруда " - Even a little fish can't be fished out of a pond without effort. If you want something, work for it. Nothing ventured nothing gained. This is another rhyme / tongue twister.

3. Strugatsky:
