YAY! for that. :) It's lovely to find a new hobby isn't it. I took up Gregorian chant 10 years ago and it's been fun. I'm not really a singer but my voice has gotten so much better over the years.

WOW! I love singing, I don't think I am particular good but I love doing it, in the church we had a choir once , it didn't last long but I loved going.

Yeah, I love singing, always have. Must be why I like songs that one can sing along with too. The best part about Greagorian is that you really don't need be a good singer as technique is different. Sounds are mostly modelled 'in your mouth' and with lips rather than in the troat area. But your normal singing voice does get better too. A lot of it is in the proper breathing.

The Gregorian singing sounds interesting!!!!!

A lot of it is in the proper breathing.

hee! Indeed - I remember this from the school choir. It was compulsory , but I wish I paid more attention!

Congratulations!!! I skated for about 8 years until a back injury put a stop to it :( I did freestyle and dance ... what are you doing?

I am not sure yet - I think my trainer does dance.. I used to do iceskating lessons as a child, it feels so good to get back to it. It is of these sports that exercises the whole body.

It's a fantastic exercise ... I loved how it toned and strengthened me all over :)

FAntastic! It is also so much about the balance - this is why I encouraged Sasha to go. At the start she found it difficult, but she clicked with her trainer (the same one I practiced with today) and now she loves it!

I am on holidays at the moment so I had chance to take a lesson with the trainer. I must say, I am pleased. :D mr. Alexander is ever so impressed too. :D Have you tried to ice skate?

I've gone ice skating before but only once or twice. I am not good at all. I have this mental fear that if I fall, someone would pass by me and I am afraid of what could happen to my hands and fingers [>_<] If I skate holding hands with someone who is good, though, I am sure it would be a lot of fun. Also, I have no idea how to brake! :D

If you ever come to Leeds again in winter we can go ice skating for a bit, there is an ice skating rink in Millennium square!!

I get the fear of the fingers cut off - ice skates can be quite sharp. ;D MAy be it can help to do it whilst wearing thick gloves? But I agree- you need to be quite careful!!

No ice-skating? Can't be right! We even have an outdoor skating rink in Leeds, a bit tricky when it rains, though.
