I am on the episode 8 of Korean 24-episode drama "Hong Gil Dong". It is getting better with each episode. The story itself is so far the best part. It shows that this is an adaptation of an acclaimed novel. The story keeps you guessing and the ending is difficult to predict at this point

He looks very different(not as thin and much older) but I think that's the guy who played her first love. His character there is a teenager, and not a strong one, so he looks a lot different.
If you look under "kdrama: hwang jin yi" in my tags, I never really properly wrote it up(I was too emotionally involved) but instead did a huge picspam with commentary.

Yes, that is him! I guess going any earlier than "Hwang Jin Yi" will not make sense.

btw, have hankies, and if you think you can't take the angst anymore almost mid-way through(it's pure trauma and angst, not melodrama) then strengthen yourself with the knowledge that there's a really hot bodyguard literally just around the corner.
