THE DAILY REPORT
Papaveria Press is readying an audiobook of
csecooney's frantic fairy tale book
Jack o' the Hills. She talks about it
here, with a shout-out to another Jack who is very near and dear to me. I have not heard the recording, but I am confident that it will be something very much like lightning in a bottle. The reason her reading audiences have made so much of her voice is that Claire does not simply read her work, she performs it, and her performances are a veritable tour de force, with an emphasis on "force".
I'm pretty far behind on what everyone else in the world is up to, because of the flakiness of my laptop... I only know that this went up because I was tagged on a Facebook post so I got an email notification. Anybody else who's doing cool things, I'm not pointedly ignoring you or anything. I just don't have the wherewithal to keep up with my flists.
STATE OF THE ME
Doing okay.
DREAMS FROM LAST NIGHT
Involved Hazel Willikins taking a magic coach ride across Nebraska with
popelizbet to replace some chocolate Christmas ornaments that had been broken.
PLANS FOR TODAY
Day one of a writing cycle, and I've already got a ~*little*~ bit done. I'm going to take a semi-relaxing day by trying to get ahead in whatever direction the muse moves me.
