Events... or a lack thereof

This morning was Tara's surgery. I had been planning to go to the hospital with her and her family, but the doctor said she would be very tired and grumpy, which I can imagine, so I decided it would be best for me to stay at home so she could get some rest. I'm going with her sister to see her Wednesday though. Her operations was supposed to have been early this morning. I didn't hear from anyone in her family until about 3:00 or 3:30. Her sister called me and said she still wasn't awake yet (!) but was doing okay, and she looked good. So I'm still worried about her, and my mom and I have been praying for her all day. I got her a little care package-- put some stuff in a basket for her that'll hopefully make her feel better.

When I was out getting stuff for her basket today, of course I looked for Blender; but, of course, still no Blender out anywhere. I hate living down here in this stupid little town. There's never anything put out on the shelves on time, except if like some big CD or movie comes out. On June 14, the album better be put out on the shelves on time, or I will do some harrassing!

Well I'm making Tara some burned CDs to help entertain her while she's indisposed for the next 6 weeks and in bed for at least the next 2. Stuff runs a lot faster when it's the only thing running, so I'm closing my IMs and this LJ entry. Talk to yall laters.
