When Brilliant Pranks Go Bad
Alright, you all know about The Prank (note the capitalization). Well, I told Polly it was a prank and this is how our phone conversation went:
Me: Hey Polly, I have something to tell you but you have to promise not to kill me...
Polly: Ok..What? OMG! DID YOU KISS SOMEONE!? DID YOU MAKEOUT WITH SUM1 DO YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND? DON'T TELL ME YOU HAD SEX!
Me: NoNoNo! Polly, caaaaaalm dooown. Caroline & I kinda made the whole thing up
Polly: (totally fine) Ok.
Me: . . .
Polly: Well, I kind of expected it I guess. But how did you get CAMERON to do it?
Me: It was me genuis! I WAS CAMERON! c&I couldn't figure you out why you didn't know it was me!
Polly: Well You sound just like him.
Me: Yaeh, and we caught the whole thing on tape so it's kinda funny. We just thought we should tell you cuz you seemed to be having a ciezure.
Polly: Well duh! I thought one of my best friends was having sex! You little sketch-*click*
Me: Hello? Polly? Shit.
Alright: It was a prank. It wasn't created to hurt you. We're deeply deeply sorry it did. But if this had happened to someone else, you probably would have found it funny, but we're sorry you didn't find it funny. Please forgive us because you know we'd forgive you.
