Taking inspiration from Li Po (Li Bai), understanding that in the past a lot of artists and poets, and magicians, so this also relates to stuff like espionage, were undergoing shamanic spirit journeys to some degree; hence the imagery they lay out in their work isn't precisely merely made up, but does have an element of the truly visionary.

it's like when chinese sounds like it has a romantic flourish on a descriptive phrase, then you later find out..it literally meant "the bird on the wire that sings like a dove at the flower garden at the end of the road across the hill from the temple", no metaphors intended ; )))
But it didn't simply show up like that, it likely was codified over time as it grew in semantic significance, probably as it was initially used in a poem or a poetic tradition, then over time basically became literal, one very unique character or an idiom. And as all language is always metaphorical of reality, even when literal or as a pure symbol, it is still as real as any other part of human experience, the imagination that is, and thus it sings in that way.
Yes good question, easier said than done. Though I would say death is certain. And new life. The sunrise. The seasons. Hunger and thirst. Change. Probabilities are everywhere there are human designs, and most everything beyond that is a mystery.

An interesting thought. I think that I would either want to on the one had produce it completely independently, as a part of my own Press, doing the printing and everything, etc., or on the other, have it disseminated through a medium that had the widest possible circulation. Perhaps for the Ideals, although what ideals are even worth having if they don't celebrate a lot of Fun? ;)
it seems prophetic!
