[Yeah, while everybody else is getting their asses killed, Veidt is calmly walking up the steps to the library, intent on going through the newspapers.

[OOC: Passing on a friendly reminder from the mods: You can't just waltz in and find anything you're looking for (remember, the town limits access to books by age and gender), and the newspapers won't do a damned thing to help. HOWEVER, people can find books that suit their age and gender by Mayfield standards and share them with one another (see: Veidt procuring Hiccup a book about guns for sport), and presumably this can lead to at least an amassing of useful information (adult men having access to sporting/automotive books, women and girls getting books on baking, young boys getting stuff on science....
There are ways! Just keep it in the confines of what the rules allow.
Also, we screwed up and there is no assistant librarian. ^_^; So that character won't be reappearing.]
