Well, I have returned from AC. I had a very good time and was able to bring home some very EXCELLENT art from the con. There are so many things to say about AC and not enough time or desire to write them all down here. Therefore, I will cover the big points.
Good:
AC is a very well run con.
The hotel is very good.
I talked to one of the DI about helping next year, and perhaps they might need some Alex services.
The DI MIG Survey crew tagged me. (I have my Fursuiter Ear tag of honor)
Met Mr. Rob Paulsen the voice of so many of our favorite animated characters. Got an audio autograph from him using his Pinky Voice!!!!! He is a very cool person AND I got to hear him sing the countries of the world live.
Saw so many new Fursuits and met so many new people.
Got to spend time with my friends JR, Lucky, Charles, Carroll, Sabot, Tilt, Zig Zag and Shrag, Aura, Robert, 2, Zero, Camstone, Smrgol and so many more.
Saw a lot of RCFM shirts in the halls!!!!!!!!
My fursuit seemed to be a hit. Lots of people took photos and responded well.
Over 350 Fursuiters.
Got to meet Xian Jaguar and she sketched in my Big Book of Art and on the cover.
Bad:
Art show bidding continued for an HOUR after the bidding was scheduled to stop.
Art show held mini auctions in each booth after bidding was scheduled to stop. It got so bad that I had to start telling people to stop sniping art and have some integrity. Since the bids were already closed.
Ended up as odd man out on Sat night. Everyone was gone or had personal plans. So I ended up going to bed early.
The long walk from the hotel to the dealer den and convention center got old very quick.
I really need to become a better performer in suit.
If any of my friends have photos of me in suit, please let me know.
And now for the best cure for PCD ever. Charles and I stopped for food just before we ended our AC trip. When I walked up to the counter to order my food, the Lady behind the register looked up and said "ARE you going to go to MFM?" I just looked at Charles and had to say What the FUR?? Heheh I ended my AC trip by meeting a Local fur at random!!!!!!
