alrighty, since Katherine wanted to know what Shara, Alisha, and i picked out as our dresses, here they are:
Shara's dress. you prolly can't see too well, but the fabric hanging down from the flower is polka-dotted. she was looking at another bright aquamarine dress too, but i think she got this one. best part: under $30. heck yes!
the back of my dress...
and the front of my dress. unlike Shara and Alisha, i got my dress at JC Penny's (i think) and i got mine the second week in June for 75% off. final price: $42. heck yesss!
unfortunatly, Dillards.com does not have a pic of any of the 3 dresses Alisha got. why did she get 3 dresses? one: she needs one for Prom, Homecoming, and the various debutante parties she'll attend. two: she couldn't make up her mind which dress she wanted to wear to Prom or Homecoming. three: the blue and pink one she got were $16 and $18 each! that sets off the $100+ she paid for her black one! lol, here's the best i can describe them:
dress one: bright blue, knee-length dress that's strapless (but she's prolly gonna put straps on it). it has some sequeined flowers on it and is very swishy. total cost: $18
dress two: bright pink (of course), knee-lenght with uneven hem, and spaghetti straps. has some detail on it, but i can't remember what; i think it's a flower though. total cost: $16
dress three: black, floor lenght with faux diamond spaghetti straps and waistline detail. also swishy and double skirt detail, with the outer skirt ruffled and pulled up to the leg. total cost: $109
finding three dresses under $150: priceless.
there are some things in life money can't buy. for everything else, there's your mom.
lol, i couldn't resist
stuff....
adios chicos y chicas!
