i'm alive!
has it really been a month since i posted?
i really do need to stop taking surprise hiatuses.
RL was rough for a while, between financial struggles (so bad at one point i was wondering if i was even going to be able to go back to school, but i think i've found a solution), moving and dealing with furnishing issues, and just having a hard time keeping any kind of work schedule because of other RL distractions. i'm one of those people who loves routine--i just start feeling lost without one.
not to mention the humidity. good god, but the heat has been absolutely awful, and the worst of it was this past week when i was moving. but i'm finally settling in to the new place--which is really cute, i love my room, even if it still looks like a disaster zone--and spending the weekend recovering and decompressing. the exhaustion and stress has been causing some strain in my relationship, too (the boy is also moving) but we are still okay--i think just a weekend (or week...) of catching up on sleep will give us some much needed clarity.
things are finally starting to look up. i hope. :)
there's no way i'll be able to catch up on what i've missed, so you guys should fill me in if you feel like it!
