One year....
Ok i havn't updated this in ummmmm...well i was never good at math, but i kno it's been awhile and as i'm packing up, i think it would be a good idea to sum up my freshman year...Since this time last year i have
graduated from high school
had an awesome summer involving much tennis, general hospital, big apple bagels, tanning and rollerblading
gotten married to my tuna soulmate (to any people not close to me, this may seem odd...lol well it is i guess)
moved out of my house
overcome the fear of moving out of my house
learned to do a few things independently lol and learned to love having my own life in east lansing
learned the meaning of bad roomates
learned the meaning of awesome roomates
moved my entire life, not 1, not 2, but 3 times
fallen in love with a boy i never thought i'd find
learned that 'family' can mean a number of things, not always biological
drank away my friday nights and thrown up my saturday mornings
taken some of the most difficult courses of my life time (can we say consitutional history, biomedical ethics, acccounting) and HOPEFULLY passed them all
achieved goals i never even set for myself
made some of the best friends in the world
learned to be a 'food prep' LOL
gotten yelled at for messing around while being a food prep
established the phrases "smile, nod, and DRINK", "WHOA", and "stooppp being ignorant" and greatly overused these phrases in the past year
learned that yes, thursday night IS a weekend night
walked into my dorm room at 6:15 in the morning after partying the night away
gone to sleep at 6:15 in the morning after studying the night away
Came to appreciate 24-hr Mcdonalds and memorized when egg mcmuffins become available (4am if ur wondering)
Spent entire saturdays doing nothing but sleeping, shopping and eating
Viewed some of the WORST movie ever, but with the BEST person ever
performed drunken pilates
Sung the Michigan State Fight song at 3am down the streets of East Lansing
Spent countless hours watching sports with Jenny all the while telling ourselves we're gonna do homework during halftimes and intermissions
Gotten into nightowl fights
Driven to Pontiac, only to stay for half an hr, and drive back
Gotten into fights with bouncers
Met Ted Nuggent LOL
Attending an 80's dance party LOL
learned to play quarters
Counted pennies in the hopes i had enough to run a load of laundry
learned why a 40 is called a 40
learned to beer bong and become quite good at it
learned to keg stand
taken sooo many drunken showers while my roomate warns me PLEASE DON'T SHAVE WHILE UR IN THERE
packed my entire life into a square cell and loved it
walked more than i have in my entire life
lived through 96 degree AND -12 degree days
8am classes suck..enough said
7pm classes suck..enough said
attempted to manage two entirely different lives, families, friends, jobs, houses and lifestyles
2am is now early to go to sleep
learned that when paired together, two little girls with more knowledge about sports than most boys could ever hope to achieve....is very intimidating
laughed at the 'soap opera' going on next door and spied on members of the floor
Came to appreciate how much i love home...both of them
encountered random, clowns, rappers and anything else that might wander down your hallway
avoided studying while jenny and i drew funny pictures of each other
sent and received more text messages than is humanely possible
used more daytime minutes than i ever thought possible
Came to appreciate detroit and city life when stuck in traffic because cows are crossing the road
Came to appreciate country life when stuck in morning rush hour traffic
continued my love of chocolate and midnight runs to spartys to get more chocolate
RACED downstairs to buy food during commercial breaks
Had some of the BEST times in my life with the BEST people i could ever ask for
on to another year.....hope it lives up to this one!
