Ugh so damn sore!

It's been awhile since I posted but alot has been going on and I've been really exhausted half the time when I get home so I dont feel like driving to the library. Ok here's some updates: got the corrections job at the local jail, it's ok it's a private jail so there is a lot of BS polotics involved. Got my ass kicked today in class for my CO position, we practiced take down moves on each other and my partner kicked me right in my bad ankle (not a fun feeling) so now I'm gimping around and am gonna ice it when I get home. My parents officially have gone and lost it. They keep sending me hate mail and saying what a bad person I am. It's bad enough I have to hear it from inmates at work I dont want to read it in my personal email. I had to give Wrangler up :( . We moved to this new apartment not realizing that it was slightly smaller than our last and Wrangler was going nuts being cooped up in a little place and only getting a couple hours play time with me when I came home. He's ok though, I took him to a shelter down south where a buddy used to work and before I signed him over one of the staff wanted him for their own so instead of having to pay to give him up I asked her some questions about her property and other dogs and stuff and it sounded like Wrangler will have a blast with some new friends. I still cried like a baby on the way home alone without my partner in crime. BUT I had to go to the doc a couple weeks ago for a checkup thing and decided while letting this shot I got settle out I went to the pet store next door and in the very back they had two puppies that apparently weren't wanted cause they were mixed so I actually found a guy I went to high school with working there and he told me they were blue heeler( another name for cattle dog) and rat terrier and that he saw the other dogs this breeder had that were the same mix and that they are only medium sized dogs. The boy puppy was sooo adorable. I dragged myself away and called Diane to say I was coming home and that I saw the cutest puppy. Needless to say we both returned to the pet store later that night and got the little boy. He's so cute. Dont have any pictures yet but will post them soon. His name is Max and is a pretty quick learner. He's getting the whole house breaking thing pretty quick but his damn small bladder makes it so he can only hold it for about and hour tops. He's getting there though and this week he'll be 9 wks old. I am in the second round of the hiring process for the Speedway police department. I've got this book of paper work to fill out asking an million and one questions it seems. I hope I get it though the pension is great and there are some awesome benefits. Ok my ankle is really throbbing now so I'm gonna head home. Have a "corrections" type of day.
