So the HP news is just pouring in today! I thought I might post some of the more important points just in case other people don't check Mugglenet 16 times a day.
1. We can all RELAX finally. Really, because WB finally got off their ass and officially offered Gary Oldman his part. "I'm so relieved and happy," said Urbanski (his manager). "I can't put my mind in the place of the producers, but I would've thought that when they read the book, a call to us would've been very high on their list. Obviously, the character of Sirius Black is key." Well, no shit. So, yeah, this is a huge relief as we all <3 Sirius.
2. They've been shooting stuff in the Room of Requirement, the forest, and Umbridge scenes. Rabid Danfans can't officially put Katie Leung on their hit lists just yet as the kiss was postponed. Dan's had the flu.
3. Release date is summer or fall 2007. I'm hoping for late July myself because it would be awesome if the 7th book would release on 07/07/07 and we could use something to hold off the depression after the end of the series.
4. OOTP trailer out before the end of 2006 says David Heyman. And he should know.
I should say something about my life now, right? Um...Buddy's still not here yet. Beth is awesome. School has killed me again. French can go die. (I'm sorry Pam, but I've had it with this language.) Church sucks. I've been saying my church was dying for years, but for me, seriously, the penultimate nail is now in the coffin. Andrew's left. That probably doesn't clarify things, umm, the family of people I've known longer than anybody I'm not related to has left without saying anything. It SUCKS.
