Merry Christmas:)
It is 5:30 am Christmas morining. I am excited for Alex to wake up and open his presents. Christmas takes on a whole new meaning when u have a family of your own. I had a hard time sleeping last night. Partly because i have a cold and partly because I am sooo excited for christmas... As i lay awake last night/tonight (i consider 5:30 am to be night time cuas this is the first time i have been up this early in quite a while..)... i thought about what Mary must have been thinking through her pregnancy, how scared or peaceful it was for her. What she thought when she figured out that she was to have the "Christ Child" in a barn. Can u imagine??? here we are having babies in luxury and our own savior was born in a pig trough.... We are so blessed to have a loving God and Jesus. I was also thinking about that tonight. It is so awesome to know that there is a God out there that loves and forgives all.. i cant imagine how people who dont know christ live... what would there be to live for??.. i guess thats why God gives us the great commission..
We went christmas eve service last night. It was fun although i miss not being with my mum and dad for the holiday.. but thats part of being married, giving and taking. I will settle for seeing them on monday. i hope all is well in yall lives:)
