Hi Everybody!  So after the various death threats, "NOOOOO's!", "OMG's", and the like, I figured I'd better get to it and write the next update.  However, my get to it-ness wasn't really kicking into gear, which is why this part took a bit longer to post.  I think it's an interesting part - a lot going on - so I hope you enjoy it.  I hope everyone

One minute I'm thinking phew, it was all in Olivia's imagination, HIM knowing about her and Alex, but then at the end I'm thinking, shit DOES he know?

This was a really, really good chapter. I enjoyed how you got Olivia around some of the more awkward questions and I especially loved the ''She's not a piece of property, Richard'' from Olivia. He just can't help himself, can he? Ewwwwww, get your dirty little mitts off of her, Ditch-water Dick!!
I feel like I've been given a long cool drink, after the weekends dry spell, with this chapter.

Fuckety Fuck, eh? LOL...That made me smile when I read that. I kind of left things open to interpretation, didn't I? With the whole "does he or doesn't he know" thing. I love the song you referenced. Perfect for this part with all the spins I've put on things...lol. I'm glad to hear that you started to feel sorry for Richard in the beginning because that's what I was going for. I wanted to add a humanistic element to his character but then completely throw you off and make you remember that he's still a "ditch-water dick", as you called him, which is perfect for him by the way.

Yeah, it was about 3 am when I was answering the first few comments. I wish it was something other than my story keeping me up...lol. Insomnia is a bitch! Especially today when I have two midterms to take. Oh well, maybe I'll be high from my lack of sleep and ace them. Either that or I'll pass out and hand in a drooled on, blank test. LOL.

A very distant memory.......
I used to get sooo uptight about them. I wish I knew then what I know now..... sigh!
I'm a bit of a perfectionist you see and I always gave myself such a hard time!
I have mellowed, a little, with age!!
And yeah, there is a point, just before you pass out and drool over your blank test, when the lack of sleep makes you feel as high as a kite!! So if you are really lucky you could time it just right and 'ACE' your midterms!!!!

Yeah, my first year of college I was really uptight and got so down on myself, but now it's like, oh well, moving on. I still study hard and everything (I said hard...lol...I know, I'm 5), but if I don't do as well as I wanted, I try not to let it eat at me. It's just not worth it.

Fuckety-fuck is such a favourite of mine, 'cos if you say it really fast it almost sounds sweet, like it's not a swear word at all!! I like muttering it under my breath in polite company! Haha! The first time I heard it was in the film 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' when Hugh Grant's character and Charlotte Coleman's character are late for a wedding. I creased when I heard it. Another one I like from the same film is Fuck-a-doodle-doo!
You might notice a pattern developing here!!!???

Hmm...I'll try using fuckety fuck in front of my mom...see if she thinks it sounds sweet...lol. The funny thing is she probably would just laugh and give me a weird look and then keep doing whatever it is she's doing. Damn, nothing shocks her...LOL!
