Olivia was sitting across from Elliot in the squad room the next day.
“You’re looking like you had a rough night.”
“Yeah... I slept in a car.”
“The vic?”
“Her name's Luce. It appears she has no one plus nightmares. That’s where I come in… sleeping in my car.”
Just then Fin broke into the conversation. “I hate to disturb a marital interlude…” After receiving a stern look from both Olivia and Elliot, he continued.
“So about our perp… word on the street is he has a hard on for the meat market on the Upper East Side. Apparently he’s been spotted prowling around looking to become part of high society.”
“Can we have that in English now?”
“Our man isn’t trying to cover his tracks. He apparently likes to frequent East Village hotspots alone looking to partake in parties of two.”
“What was the give away... the tattoo?”
“Bingo. Sticks out like a sore thumb.”
The lead was solid and proved to be the break to the very short case.

It was late in the evening when Luce’s intercom buzzed. It made her jump.
“Yes?”
“Luce? It’s Olivia. I’m sorry to drop by so late but I have some news on the case. Can I come up?” Luce's heart almost stopped in her chest.
“Yes, I’m buzzing you in.”
She opened the door slowly. When she laid eyes on the Detective it caused her breath to stop momentarily. This almost heroic figure with the leather jacket had such an overwhelming presence that was dripping with magnetism.
Olivia couldn’t stop the slow smile at the site of the green eyed beauty that had been heavily populating her thoughts for the past 24 hours. As much as she tried to bite back excitement at seeing her, it was evident.
“Hi… How are you?”
“Hey… I’m ok… You know, I never thanked you for last night. That was really sweet of you to watch over me… my place like you did.”
“Please. It was nothing at all, Luce.” Olivia’s voice was so soft and inviting.
There was something... something electric sparking between them.. and that was almost too much.
“Come in Olivia.”…
