Who has been somewhat dissapointed with Stephanie's return? We all got so excited when we thought they might play on the subtext between Alex & Olivia. Yet I have failed to see any materialise. She seems almost closer to Elliot then to Olivia. They haven't really touched much upon "Ghost" or anything since. I would just love to see an episode that

Your not the only one. When I heard Stephanie was coming back I was really looking forward to seeing the AO chemistry again, add that to Neal Baer's production blog question about Benson being gay, it was really disappointing seeing how little screen time they have together.

I think she only has one ep left so I guess we'll see what happens...

I do think a large part of a what happened is Mariska's injury, she had to skip one or 2 episodes all together due to hospitalization and recover and then the ones after she she came back have her not that active like she is still recovering and they have lightener her load/hours, maybe to avoid her having another set back.

It's VERY disappointing. I was hoping after the interview with March where she was so open to the idea that there possibly was something between the two characters that we might see more subtext or even something blatant, but it's been a constant let down. The two had incredible onscreen chemistry prior to loss (and even in Ghost), but as someone else pointed out, there's been little interaction between the two this time around.

The suspicious part of me wonders if this is a reaction by Hargitay to March's comments (given her previous comments about Benson being gay...or being identified as gay by some).

you know, you may be on to something! i don't think March would have thrown all those statements out there if she was barely even having scenes with Hargitay...maybe once she said what she said, they were changed/cut? not saying that there was any REAL A/O happening, but it could have at least been some good subtext or bonding scenes...they've barely shared any screen time. we all know how MH feels about people thinking that she and/or Benson are gay... i dunno, maybe i'm reading too much into things lol it just seems a little odd to me to go through the trouble of bringing March back and then barely using her.

They totally could have made up for if they had let Jerri Ryan just jump Alex in the courtroom in that episode a couple of weeks ago. :)

I think my head would have exploded if Hargitay had been in the courtroom with the two of them.

See I dont get this. Im not sure where the rumor started that Mariska is uncomfortable with the idea of Benson being gay. Particularly as Mariska has done a lot for the community.

Stephanie is clearly happy to play such a role after "30 Rock" but she does always seem to be a bit more cheekier in that area, then Mariska. I don't know.

I just hope its down to the accident and nothing else but damn it, it's kinda spoiling my love of the show.

oh totally. Everytime i watch it I'm like...'Why can't she have those scenes with Mariska!?". IT' disapointing. They need to bring those 2 together. I'm wating for alex to thank benson for saving her life that night
