Hey TJ...
Something must be adressed. I was bored the other night, and was reading some live journals, laughing at some emo bullshit. I checked "I dig gardening"'s (wow, great pun), and I was appalled. TJ usually has some horrible stuff to say, but this stuff just crossed the line.The following is the offending items:
"Thoughts:
1. Guys, please. I'm serious here. Stop trying to impress woman. A vast majority of them don't care for your machoness, are annoyed by it, or it simply doesn't turn them on. Showing off your 'best moves', your muscles (metaphorically or literally) or just in general acting different then you normally would around friends or such, will not land you a girl. If it does, the relationship will probably not last long. Instead of trying to impress a girl, be impressed by HER. I could spend hours talking about the benifits of being impressed by a woman rather then impressing a woman, but, you can probably think of most of the reasons yourselfs. This works.
2. I think there should be at least one day a year where everyone gets to take something out of there homes, smash it to peices with a hammer, and insurance pays for a new one. I think "Destruct-o-day" is a nice start for a name."
I fugure it's redundant to try to mock or refute these ridiculous "points", but I felt I had to reply. Unfartunatley, TJ had banned me from replying in his posts after I made some harmless comment before. I felt the stupidity of his comments must be shown after reading peoples praise of his bull shit. Here is my repsonse:
Holy fucking shit. What a load of trife teenage bullshit. I am physically ill after having read this. You should be ashamed.
On point 1: Well, you must be right on this, I bet you get laid 5 times a week for playing the sensitive intellectual type. Not putting on a macho front? How revolutionary! Your ideas are so important! You suck.
2: Do you have any clue how stupid you have made yourself seem? There are countless human beings who don't have any possession to destroy, let alone have an insurance company replace. This displays such a wrong-headed sense of entitlement. I know this is just some hypothetical bullshitting on a stupid blog, but the fact that you thought this was an acceptable idea is astounding. People in this country already produce enough garbage that they should never be able to get something replaced after deliberatly destroying it.
