In short: Alex Heights is a sixth-year Hufflepuff. He's a little quiet, a little shy, extremely studious (perhaps too much so) but is very friendly and overall a pretty fun guy to be around. He's brutally honest, but as he himself is easily hurt by words or deeds he does his best to be kind and polite to anyone he meets, always giving a person a

I'm getting the feeling that William and Alex would probably know each other really well, having been roommates for six years. :D And I think that sharing the same classes/a lot of same interests, I think Alex would probably do a lot of hanging around him in a way that's not really intrusive, not really forcing himself into whatever train of thought William might be following, but just kind of hanging out in a group without really having to do a lot of talking. Though I'm sure Alex will bother him with talking, on occasion. :D
I think Alex would probably very much like Arisha, and would definitely help her out with Transfig if she's willing to talk about Charms with him. As she is a Charms expert and wants to be a Charms researcher, he's probably very interested in that. He likes people who have a very precise idea of what they want to do after school, because he just don't have a clear idea of what he wants to do and wants to hear what some other people are doing for an idea. :D
Plus, Alex definitely likes talking about Muggle subjects, because as his Muggle mother was the one who watched over him the most, he's grown very attached to the Muggle world. He definitely has the same feelings about being 'kindred spirits' with other halfbloods. It was a bunch of difficult early years, after all.
Further ideas? :D

As for Will...well, he might've been meant for sixth year, but he's still really a fifthie. Soooo yeah, they can't have met in classes or such. If Alex loves spending time outdoors, they could've met there! Will loves just lazing around outside or painting or whatever. This --

works nicely though! :) Bri and Will are also best friends *points to icon* so he'll be pretty much used to being mildly needled about his overabundance of laidbackness. XD

Haha, for some reason I totally read your previous comment as that Will's a sixth year but was supposed to be a seventh year, or something. I FAIL. But I'm sure they'd probably still hang around with each other and stuff. Outdoor friends, yay!
