I just wept because I found sorrow, I have been practicing for almost two weeks now, it is hard to weep because of fearful caution deep in my spine. At a certain point injuries become memories, caution, absent present pain. But you must dissolve to change. Read James Baldwin's Go Tell It On The Mountain for transcendant exploration. Every great piece of art has human emission inside, whether sweat tears or song.
I made it to Starvation Gulch this year besequined, spinning insufficient tire, a joy to dance before bonfires in cold rain, to dance I am here and alive. I am beginning with practice to discover my body, an instrument. I am beginning to create again and I am fearful, humble before the opportunities ahead.
What better form of worship than dance? "When do you stop dancing" because all life is inspired breath (dance).
