Once I saw withing few summer weeks:
Ringo Starr singing "Yellow Submarine", "With a little help from my friends" etc...
Than Doors with Ray Manzarek playing keyboard solo and Robby Krieger playing a guitar solo on "Light my Fire"...
And Eric Burdon with the Animals singing "House of rising sun", "Don't let me be misunderstodd", and other stuff like that.
Or yeah, and sometime between all these, there was Velvet Underground's genius, Mr. John Cale performing live.
Looking at these names, one could think of summer of love, 1967 or smth like that in UK or US. But - what a paradox surprise - it is was summer of 2011 in south/middle west of Germany. The guys are still around, still touring, still playing the music of undescribable power.

And last but not least, Mr. John Cale, who (very unfortunately) did not play any Velvet Underground stuff, but played, among solo songs, a Leonard Cohen and an Elvis cover.
