Nazis are like herpes

FB comment by person A: Didn’t work though. Germany does not have a shortage of neo nazis and a whole white supremacist party, AfD. Brandenburg has so many neo Nazis I think neither of us could go there safely
My reply: Nazis are like herpes; even if you're not having an outbreak, it's impossible to entirely get out of your system.
(Of course, this is true of most memes - in the original sense of thought organisms. Memes are extremely difficult to kill, especially the kind that violently hijack the brain and shut down rational thought the way fascist ideology does.)
