Gideon bibles are religious warfare.
I was thinking last night... and I've decided that despite my severe hatred of book destruction, I want to some day be rich enough to start an organization dedicated to removing Gideon bibles from hotels and motels, and quietly disposing of them. Not all bibles everywhere, just Gideon bibles from hotels and motels. I make this exception because Gideon bibles are, frankly, weapons. The act of putting one of them in a hotel or motel turns it into a religious weapon, a weapon in Christianity's war on everyone who isn't one of them. It is a powerful insult to anyone who isn't Christian. I want these weapons removed, and quietly disposed of, so that we'd be wasting the Gideons' money and effort, and counterstriking against the enemy.
Just to clarify, the enemy is not Christianity. The enemy is modeltheism. It wouldn't matter if the books being left in hotels and motels were bibles, atheist works, Satanic Bibles, buddhist writings, or Hindu scripture: it would still be religious warfare. And if someone wages religious war on me, I'm sure as hell gonna at least defend myself.
