The whole notion of an omniscient, omnipotent being that is also a personal Deity is patently ludicrous, and frankly impossible. These two things, omniscience and personal caring, are inherently contradictory. Any being capable of keeping track of every single damn subatomic particle in the universe, given the size of said universe, is not going to be capable of giving a shit one way or another about any particular group of atoms and molecules. One cluster of atoms is going to be no different, by that perspective, from any other group of atoms. And even if such a being could feel anything for humanity in general, why should it care about any particular group of humans, or feel the need to pry into your personal life?
I'll tell you what: Jehovah/Yahweh, if he exists, is just one of many minor gods and goddesses. He is not, and has never been, and will never be, the ultimate God, the Tao, whatever you want to call it. I know this to be true because Jehovah is either wrathful, loving, or both (if both, then He is also insane). By his all-too-human behavior, he is disqualified from being the ultimate, overarching God. By his behavior, we can see that, while he may be able to see a lot, he is far from omniscient. And anything but omnipotent. In fact, I would categorize him as impotent, in every sense of the word. Just as flaccid as people like Pat Robertson. Yes, Pat Robertson... the only thing more flaccid than Pat Robertson's trophy penis is the maggot turd he calls his soul.
