Yesterdy I downloaded a recording that excites me. "Blacknuss" by Rahsaan Roland Kirk. My mom hates it, but I think it's off the chain. I also got the self-titled debut from the band Midnight Movies. It's a good one.
Today was pretty neat.
School was fine. I felt and acted silly.
One school was out, my mother and I went to Salvation Army, where I found 2(!) good jazz LPs. "Genesis" by Elvin Jones and "Mad Hatter" by Chick Corea. Fifty cents each. Yowza.
After that I went to the physical therapist about my shoulder. He says it's going to heal alright on its own, which is great. He made my arm feel good with his hands.
All the while in the car my mother and I were listening to Blackalicious, who we both really love. My mom has more underground rap knowledge than you, bitch!
Yeah, so then I just came home and ate and practiced piano and listened to music and did homework. I listened to "Undertow" by Tool, which is odd for me. I had fun singing along. "Undertow" and "Ænima" are both good albums, so don't let me forget it.
