I don't think my sore throat it going away, I'm starting to feel like it's affecting my left ear... which if I've read from a reputable source, is pretty serious. It feels like a major lump in my throat, on the left side. I've been drinking lots of water and tea, took a Tylenol (the darn so-called eZtab was lodged in my throat for a bit), and so far it's the same, no improvements. Maybe I should bring on the Benylin?
Speaking of drinking lots of fluids, I can honestly say I've peeeed like three times in a matter of an hour and a half. Drink much? Geeze. I've never been so hydrated in my life--yet so poor in health!
Anyway, enough about me, I think Lola is sick too :( She came in from playing outside this morning and threw up on four different spots on the floor.. she's been tired all day and just sleeping whenever she can. I think she's been eating some dirt outside..
So here she is, passed out on a chair next to mine:
Oh and my eye infection has finally officially subsided, not completely, but it's almost there! Don't wear your contacts for too long or your eyes are going to start having discharge!! I'm just saying!
And shopping problems are still ongoing, as per usual. Those Talula harem-style pants from Aritzia belongs in my closet.
And how can I forget. Snowboarding. Gone two days this season so far, and it's been pretty good! Still trying to get carving down pat, especially in steeper hills, and still trying to get used to the speed. I'm not exactly in a rush to wake up in a hospital bed! Speaking of which, this reminds me of part of a convo Bryan and I had at Blue.
We were talking about knowing when you're done snowboarding for the day and when to call it quits.. both our legs were about to give out on our last run and Bryan had recovered from a pretty bad wipeout.. the convo went something like this:
Bryan: I fell pretty bad on that last run.
Alex: Yeah I was kinda unsure about carving even though the powder was still pretty thick. You just gotta know when you're done for the day.
B: Yeah unless you wanna wake up dead.
A: Wait, what?
(Both LMAO-ing at this point)
B: Yeahhh how do you wake up dead?!
Wicked funny.
P.S. I just remembered a really sweet gesture Patrick did at snowboarding (Sunday). We were sitting on the ground waiting for the others when he inches in closer to me leaving just a couple of feet between us. Then he looks at me and says, "Hey" with a smile and writes something on the snow with his finger. It said "A & P" then he drew a big heart around it :) I don't know if he would mind that I wrote that here, but hey he's a sweetie!
