My Club Adventure
In my efforts to cope with this emotional void that Nessa left me I decided to fill it it with some good music and some dancing. Unfortunately no one could join me in this endeavor and I was left to fend for my self which was fine with me. The venue was "Sunday Skool" at the Hifi. According to the their site its "an evening of soul inspiring, tear jerking and hip shaking House music. I got there early and there weren't many people in the club. I decided to be bold and ask two very sweet looking ladies if I could join them. Their names were Jessica and Lori. Jessica is a House loving 25 year old and Lori is a Reggae fanatic from BC. We played the question game until DJ Rice started his set and we started shaking our booty. Jessica apparently attracts a lot of attention. There was this one guy that I have to mention. This guy was trying hard to get Jessica's attention all night. His second attempt to impress is when he told Jessica that he was not crazy and won't take her home and strangle her in bed... That guy just stepped over the line to creepy. Luckily he didn't pursue the matter further because Lori looked sweet but I could see her going crazy on him. After that weird encounter of the crazy kind we hot boxed Lori's car and got really high. We made it till the end of the night without further incident. After the last song we said our goodbyes. I felt really privileged to have spent the night with two very nice ladies. I didn't ask for their number since they didn't ask for mine. Even though we just meet it felt like I knew them as if we were old friends who haven't seen each other for a while. I hope to see them again in the near future but I doubt it. Good people are hard to find.
