I admit it needs work. My writing skill arin't the best, but it's not bad for a beginner. Im trying to find a beta who can help me. I do have ideas to what should happen in chapter 2 next.

Its GREAT for a beginner!!!! I want more!!!!

I dont want to sound stupid but I dont know what a beta is. Ive never used one (I dont think I have) when i write. If its something i can do though I will try and help.

I give sweet words to sweet people! :D

Believe me stepping into the world of writing, i don't know much either. From what i understand, a beta is a writer and reader who can help u with ur writing and teach what needs to be corrected and give ideas and opinions on ur work. Ive posted on ozslash and oz_rapsheet for help. trillingstar suggested it and i thank her dearly. :)

ohhhhhhh! I suppose that would be helpful when writing. Well im not a good writer so i dont think i can help with that but I can give my opinion and i think your a good writer!!!!!

Sorry, I forgot that you were new to LJ and writing! I didn't want to sound patronizing. Here's a great link that talks about betas and different ways they can help with writing. Not all betas are writers, but presumably they're avid readers. They're definitely educators (although not necessarily because of formal training or profession), and many times they become your friends, because you're working together on creating something amazing.

Anyway, your summation was right on track! Don't be afraid to contact the betas in the pools, either. Good luck! :)
