• but can we take a moment to appreciate how much game Sam got this episode??? first there's Piper, and then later at the gas station he and the cashier FLIRT SO EXCESSIVELY HARD that neither of them notice Dean getting the shit beaten out of him literally ten feet away
• Dean taking off the Deputy dude's head with the car door does things to my ladybits and I am not ashamed to admit it
• Sam often dreams about his mother T___T
• I really truly honestly wanted to be furious with Jessie and her friend for taking Baby for a joyride like that, but let's be real here. that is EXACTLY what I would do in her situation. at least they have A+ taste in music.

• how much do you wanna bet that the little air freshener tree thing is one of the ones from A Very Supernatural Christmas that Sam used to decorate the motel room
• since the TV is in Sam's room I'm 100% convinced that this Halloween Dean is somehow going to rig a hyperrealistic lifesize mannequin of the girl from Ringu/The Ring to look like she's climbing out of it while Sam is asleep and Sam will wake up and shoot it full of bullets before realizing it's Dean's handiwork (maybe Cas is an accomplice and keeps Sam asleep while Dean's setting it all up and while also monitoring Sam's sleep patterns to give him the best sleep he's had in years) and thus a new prank war is launched (and then Linda and ghost!Kevin and ghost!Charlie come back and solve everyone's problems in like ten minutes and then they go and rescue Benny from Purgatory the end bye)
