So I finally found a job (in medical research) a few weeks ago and it's going really well. I have a great boss and friendly colleagues and good benefits and I'm kept very busy. Next up is looking for an apartment.
I've heard about the Amazon anti-LGBT debacle, but I don't really know enough to pass judgment. If it comes to light that Amazon is in fact supporting such views, I don't care to be a patron any longer, but at this point I can give them the benefit of the doubt. (And considering such a move is poor business....) In the meantime, they have taken a cue from iTunes and are offering
free songs-700 or so of them.
Also, FMA 2: WTF? I was excited because I thought it was going to be a sequel series, but it seems to be more like a remake, albeit more visually impressive. I don't know if I have the patience to sit through the same villains, the same jokes, and the same plotlines. I'll give it a couple more episodes. At least they retained Ed's seiyuu-Romi Paku is incredibly talented.
ETA: I've concluded #amazonfail did not involve malicious intent, only stupidity, so I am not boycotting.
