It's been a while, but as I wrote before leaving for Himachal, that was expected. I can't quite believe that I'm leaving India in less than a month. I met some crazy characters on my travels...one of the most interesting of which was Mr. Joseph Iype who ran our hotel in Munnar (character sketch to be put up once I find the time to type it up. I have managed to, in a month, to travel from far north in India to the southern tip. All in all, I've managed to see quite a bit of India, though I still feel that I will return at some point for another round of travels.

So here I am, April 6th. Tomorrow two of my students face UWC selection interviews. I have the next month packed with good-bye events. The Akshara team is having some sort of outing for me, but they are adamant to keep it a surprise. Malavika is having a party for me on her roof. I want to do one last get-together in Rawade at our old house, to come full circle so to speak. There's also the full passover seder that we're having on campus, my birthday, and general busyness. I feel like these days are rushing past...I'm doing my best to make use of the time and the pool, and so have managed to burn myself again, though not as badly.

I need to get back in the habit of using this journal, traveling has almost finished my paper journal, but I feel odd typing away now.
