Went to the cinema to watch Thor yesterday. I  was an enjoyable action flick. Then again there is something really cool about the 3 of the most important characters being Thor, Odin and Loki. I actually spoiled myself by knowing some mythology. They actually did pretty well with the mythology, Odin lost an eye, Bifrost really was a rainbow bridge,

At least Yuzu obeys the laws of gravity and looks realistic for someone of her proportions. What the fuck is wrong with everyone in DeSu2? I mean...Io looks like an old Barbie doll!

Anyway, I liked Thor, too. Though, knowing mythology spoiled me a bit too. Like, I knew Nidhoggr without its name ever being mentioned (that was Nidhoggr, right?). And when Odin made his appearance on Sleipnir first thing I looked for were the extra legs. XD

Also considering Sif's mythological role, one has to wonder what she thought of the romance subplot.

Out of 6 female characters only 2 look remotely normal. Io looks like she has inflated water melons under her shirt. I mean seriously, I understand fan service, but this is ridiculous.

It must have been Nidhoggr, what else could it have been. You're not the only one, my first reaction was to look at the legs of Sleipnir as well XD

Well one of the people I went with pointed out, that when Sif was telling about how Thor was coping with Loki's "death" and the girl being out of reach, she looked slightly jealous. I seriously hope they aren't going for that angle though.

This is abnormal to the point of being grotesque. The others look just...ick.

I'm a little ambivalent on that angle. I'd like them to make a nod to those two being married in myth at some point, assuming they crank out a sequel to this one like all the other comic book-movies have.

Yeah, agreed really not liking this. Makes me slightly uncomfortable by just looking at it.

I assume they will crank out a sequel. At least the Avenger movie is coming out, so Sif might be in that (Thor and Loki both have been confirmed). I do hope they make a nod to it; it is a rather important point after all. I just find jealousy plot lines tiring (possibly because I've barely ever seen it done well), so I hope they don't go for that.

I'm still going to give the game a shot, but...this is definitely a huge blow against it. I mean, Shin Megami Tensei has had some impractical character designs, but at least these designs didn't defy things like gravity and anatomy.

I'm probably going to see that Avenger movie. The Avengers were the only comic book heroes I was ever really interested in (my little kid!self liked Captain America's shield. XD).

It get's a change from me as well I love SMT way to much not to try it, I'll just hope it won't show up much in the sprites. And I always wondered how Hiroko walked with those boots and with her whip all over the place, so much love for her <3

Same, it's one of the movies I'm really looking forward to.

I figure the stilettos work fine for flat surfaces like everywhere in the Center but...the Factory district? Other places outside with dirt the heel could sink into?

I just imagine the party slowing down massively in places like those. XD Maybe Aleph or one of his demons gets fed up and carries her.

The first Io (or any other afflicted character) in the DR is getting dragged on a shopping trip for a bra that fits correctly. XD

Oh the mental images. I can really see Aleph getting exasperated with her and carrying her around XD

Hahaha, a good bra makes a world of difference. And unfortunately, the sprites look just as bad X_X
