So I've just spent half the evening clicking and commenting. Thank you so much for these recs!! DA is bewildering and it's lovely to have a 'tour guide'! Thank you in particular for the introduction to the work of Blepharopsis - we have been taking photos of bugs in Portugal but my camera isn't good enough to even try to emulate him. I will be returning to his gallery again and again!

I love dA! as long as they don't bring A New Soooo Fantastic Layout!!! I promise there will be not only single interesting works, but also worthwatching artists in this series yet. Yes, Blepharopsis is one of artists I admire the most, a photographer who not only confines to taking pretty shots, but gives them an unique, personal flavour. And what a flavour! His bugs and creatures have characters.
