(Because it looks like five-minutes entries tend to get more response than ones I put actual work into. Perhaps the latter are too long?) ( Read more )
I didn't understand anything, sounds more like korean than russian he was so fast with his words :P But he has a nice voice.
For the thing inside brackets, personally I feel like if I read blogs I want to take few minutes to really read it... I LOVE reading well written posts!
but at the same time, I understand the modern world instagram/twitter what not, very hectic things... they are full of clutter. BUT well written blog posts still have their place, I think. Maybe less people read them, but the people who do, actually read them with thought
Maybe that's because it's Ukrainian, not Russian. ;D But yeah, I can't get almost anything when he sings, even though for me it feels rather normal than too fast. I understand more in the spoken parts.
Thanks for it. I'm glad to know there's more people still liking longer texts. Well, reading with thought is all great and what I hope for, it's just that I'd like to hear this thought, too... *sigh*
Also, thanks for proving my point. ;) See? I wrote a few lines and I already have a nice talk. One could think it would be proportionately more with really elaborated and polished up things, but nope. Sometimes I sit there and wonder if I suddenly turned invisible... Or I'm just being overly bitter and whiny. I feel a little low recently, a few things have cumulated - a failed idea there, an unreplied ask or comment here and there, and yet there - and I have let it all made me somewhat depressed and bitter, sorry if it leaked.
Aaaa That explains a lot! Recognizing something and trying to find meaning but can't... They still sound great... that's universal :) Russian-Ukrainian, it's very much like Finnish-Estonian-Hungarian... The intonation, they all sound very much alike, but in the end the meaning is very different... sometimes even opposite... how mean xD
proving your point.. I beg to disagree with that one. I commented because all the stars were right, you know, I happened to be online, you happened to publish this blog, something that intrigued my curiosity... I see your message and wanted to reply etc... I am not online so often, so might have missed this. Or very often, I just don't comment. Maybe I've grown old, I just don't comment as much as I used to... It could have been any other post, this time, it was this post... If I'm making any sense...

If I'm making any sense... You are. Okay, a correction then: proven statistically in general, but not for your case in particular. :D Anyway, thanks for coming. :)
I've now got them on as 'background' music and like the playing and singing though of course I don't have the first idea what it's all about, apart from vague clues in the vid clips.
I love your long posts - long posts are why I cling fiercely to the 'older' social networks.
But recently I've been drowing in real life - in a nice but totally exhausting way. As winter comes I may have more time to post and comment. I still have your music meme saved and I think something else but gmail is playing up and has buried things.
Oh, so it's not only me and they are catching indeed! I'm glad I've infected you. *g* As far as I can understand, the title of my favourite one (the second video) is "My Planet", and I think in spite of the clip the lyrics starts with a description of a newspaper with black printed headers and military rockets on photos, and then it says about the effort to paint own world against those things. Another one I love is a tragic story of a hedgehog flattened on a road (on the first video it's starts from about 30:00). They had it even on the cover of their first album, and perhaps you have noticed the hedgehogs in the logo on the first video. And people in the audience are holding plush hedgehogs.
long posts are why I cling fiercely to the 'older' social networks. Same here, and thank you! In one of my fandoms I like materials from conventions, but in recent years almost nobody ever writes anymore detailed reports for reading, with narration and all; now it's almost entirely Twitter feeds, which means a heap of different tweets
( ... )
They are both fascinating, possibly more so because I have no idea what they are singing about. The second song vid is obviously very 'angsty' going by the clips. The sound is good too. It's always nice to hear music from other countries so thanks for posting:D
Hehe, in such case don't read my reply to Moth up there! *g* And it's great to share such discoveries and see others can like them too, so thanks for coming to tell me that. :)
