My secondary provisional (teaching) certificate came in the mail this week! I am now an official teacher in the eyes of the state of Michigan.
I'm wearing green today. This is quite an adjustment for me, but I figure that regardless of the ratio of irish blood cells to greek, turkish, czech and english in my genetic code, I'd better just suck it up and appear festive.
Having a plan, acting on the plan and evaluating the plan are three steps I need to work on. Maybe I ought to work on the order of them as well. I did not have much of a weekend, and thus found it difficult to work on my one true day of rest. I got things done, but not as effectively as I would have liked had I had saturday as well.
But today is a day for work, a day for kicking ass and taking names as usual. I will get better at this, I know it.
