Sanibel Island
I will be moving to Holland this coming weekend instead of next weekend. The loss of a week to pack should get me in gear to start this new life of mine.

Currently, I'm in Florida. I saw dolphins swimming right in front of me this morning! It's sooooo beautiful and I know I'm incredibly spoiled to have this opportunity for a week. I wonder why anyone would want to live in Michigan if they could be here. I've gotten an entire summer's worth of tan in three days. Also a sunburn. THAT'S a strong sun for you.
I also caught two starfish, but they were still alive, so I let them go. I'm going to be craftastic and make picture frames out of the shells I've collected. I found abalone, and I want to make jewelry!!!
I bought this excellent book called "Fiddler's Ghost" It's got everything I like: music, ghosts and history. I found it at an art fair (where I also saw a gentleman I've done shows in Michigan with!) and even though the booth was selling hats (I bought one of those too) they sold me the book and it's fabulous. Too bad it isn't in regular stores. It's an independent publisher and I'd need to go online and order it otherwise.
AHHHHH Sun! Summer! Swimming in the Ocean! This is paradise until you run out of money :-)
