Just a short note.

We found a house. We've gone thru the negotiation process. I believe the term is, "house under contract". And the house inspection is complete.

So I'm in the process of letting work know, saying goodbye to folks, schedule shut off and move dates. Husband is handling the start up in OH.

I'm leaving work before closing. Work doesn't seem to *fucking* understand that people need more than 12 hours notice that time is approved. honestly, I almost walked out at the end of June.

Yes, there could've been people ahead of me that needed the time. I don't expect special treatment. But I asked for the time in the middle of june and was told to wait until the end of June to hear about it.

And that shit happened also before my wedding/honeymoon.

And a couple of workers also. the were told a day before the time off that it was "ok".

Hell. A week before the time off, if I haven't heard anything, it's not me requesting anymore. It's me TELLING them I will be gone, deal with it. At least with a week, rescheduling things may be possible.

Whatever, stupid company. I complained to boss/boss he said it was because they were spread too thin. I believe that whatever management issues that are happening, it shouldn't affect workers.

oops slipped into work rant mood. Boss wondered why I was so "happy" this past friday. I didn't say this, but do you think it might have something to do with the "I'm Leaving" letter on your DESK?!

Instead I told her about my car getting stolen. Yep, my first car it was stolen...or accidently borrowed from the grocery store i worked at. An elderly man drove it away, and the son realized pretty quick dad grabbed the wrong car. They called police...and the nice police picked me up and took me to my car at the end of my shift. But when I worked the lastof my shift, it was a *Great* customer service day for me. I was smiling. i was greeting and talking to people. I mean, my car got stolen, customers couldn't have it worse than that, right? Or at least a customer yelling at me to speed up checkout was little concern to me right then. :-)

And i thought this entry would be short. friends list be ware!!
