Inspiring
I love Rammstein. It's so inspiring! :)
Tonight, I've managed to write pages of crap that I've been stuck on for ages... (heh - pages, ages...)
It was so hard to get started because I "lost" the original drafts when I broke my last computer. *cough* If we had the time/inclination, I suppose it would be a simple task of taking the HD somewhere to get the data recovered, but that hasn't happened yet, and this story wouldn't wait for me to get off my ass... So I had to try and pull myself out of the mindset of 'remembering and writing what I'd done before' --because that wasn't working-- and put myself into the motion of just writing what I felt was needed to keep the general idea of the original.
I had felt like what I'd worked on before was something special... something fantastic that sounded so awesome and cool that it would be impossible to recreate just so, but if I thought that way about all of my old work, I'd never practice and improve my skills. :/
So, I've finally moved on, thanks to one of my favorite CDs, Reise Reise. :) It just helped set the mood, and I got to typing. :D
Anyways, back to writing before I get stuck again...
