Party in the Ty-Ri-A

The weekend is going pretty well. I had really messed up sleep for about the last two weeks but things were a little better a few days recently. Still not sure what's going on with that, but it's probably seasonal.

I had a nice surprise yesterday, I haven't weighed myself for a few days and despite being a tad indulgent Friday, my scale said I was down some. I decided I was still feeling indulgent after that and hit ihop for blueberry & banana pancakes. Despite this, my scale this morning announced "new recent low!" and just over 35 pounds lost. Not bad. I had a long chat yesterday after coming back from ihop with my next door neighbor. She's a grandma who was diagnosed with high blood pressure and has managed to take off 20 pounds so far with her own efforts. As this is going on she suddenly goes, "wait, you're wearing a new outfit! That look great on you." Yay for mutual reinforcement. : )

Guild Wars has been a trip this weekend. Friday night bonisagus and I fought our way from Beacon's Perch all the way to Droknar's Forge. Suddenly, doing 5 missions in the Crystal Desert to get warped there doesn't seem nearly as bad. Saturday I got my Luxon faction up to 10k so I could open up their parts of the map -- Aleron has a cross-campaign quest that requires a visit into that territory. I also had Kaze go into the Talus Chute zone in hard mode and see if he could farm there. I was able to solo the boss just over the zone line but overall it was not rewarding enough for the effort. Still, interesting.
