A name...
what is in a name...
well if you a 15th Century Italian a lot more than I first thought!
Not long after I started playing I picked my name - Alessandra Dellamorot. however after playing for a while and meeting new people and hearing new names, I have felt that my name was missing something.
So I have finally gotten of my butt and sat down and did some research into naming patterns and come up with the following.
My surname should be della Morot as the tax roll where I got it from had them listed without spaces and I forgot this when I got my name.
(First name) di (mans given name) (surname)
with di meaning of, so my middle name would be my husbands given name.
So with that in mind I looked for soome mens names I liked and found Lorenzo, Piero, Silvestro and Angelo. Also like Gabriel but don't think it will work.
So written it will look like
Alessandra di Lorenzo della Morot
Alessandra di Piero della Morot
Alessandra di Silverstro della Morot
Alessandra di Angelo della Morot
The other options I have are
(first name) (second name-womans)(surname) or
(first name)(second name - womans)(third name)(surname)
so the names I looked at in the womens section was
Diana, Fina, Fiore, Piera and Mina
at this stage I think I will only go for one middle name,
which gives us
Alessandra Diana della Morot
Alessandra Fina della Morot
Alessandra Fiore della Morot
Alessandra Piera della Morot
I am now thinking Mina won't work.
