Broken little girl
So real and sweet
Broken little child
Taken from her dreams

Ribbons in her hair
Innocently fall
Replaced now by the scars
Etched into her arms

Perfect little angel
She was pushed to far
Tried to be strong
She soon fell apart

Fighting for her life
Standing for a truth
Yet so quickly judged
By the ignorance in youth

The world has done nothing
To gain her trust
Yet battered and scared
She will take what she must

Trudging through disaster
Thrown daily at her feet
Forced to carry burdens
Your soul will never meet

Perfect little angel
I'm sorry I couldn't help
Save you from experiencing
Life's temporary hell

Please don't hate yourself
Even angels make mistakes
Your guilt is not your own
One death is all it takes

I know life isn't heaven
But alteast it isn't hell
You've made such a difference to me
I hope that you can tell

I envy the undying strength
And the grip on what you've got
That kept your sad heart fighting
When your body simply would not

So let this be as lullaby
To soothe you while you sleep
And dream of a place where nothing
Is harder than it seems

You're and inspiration
You're a shining star
Perfect little angel
Never forget that's what you are
